The BOPS Racing team has wrapped up their 2009 Racing Season. The team started 21 races and had 15 top ten finishes, 10 of those were in the top five and 1 of those was celebrated in victory lane. DIETZ TAKES 7TH AT THE KEVIN GOBRECHT MEMORIAL RACE AT TRAIL-WAY SPEEDWAY
The BOPS Racing team hit up the TW again Saturday with hopes of another Kevin Gobrecht Memorial win. Tim started 4th in heat race #3 and finished 2nd. In the second round of heats, Tim started 8th in heat race #7 and finished 7th. In the A-main started 16th and made some great moves and was fighting for the win all night long, but ran out of laps and finished in 7th place. The BOPS Racing team were rained out once again at the big TW on Saturday so off to the nearby Shippensburg Speedway the team headed. Tim started 5th in heat race #2 and finished 2nd. DIETZ TAKES 12TH AT TRAIL-WAY SPEEDWAY
The BOPS Racing team hit up the TW again Saturday night short staffed, but wanted to just have a good solid night to maintain 1st place in the points standings. By nights end things didn't exactly work out that way. In warm-ups the motor blew up in the 18d. Family member Shawn offered his car to Tim for the heat race. In the heat race Tim flipped and never finished the race and was credited 7th place. In the A-main Tim was offered another car, this time Shelby's car and Tim started 18th and finished 12th. By the nights end, a lot of damage was done and the points lead was lost. The team will rebuild this week and look to take back the points lead next Saturday night. DIETZ TAKES 14TH IN PRO SERIES RACE AT TRAIL-WAY SPEEDWAY
The BOPS Racing team hit up the TW again Saturday night for the $1000 to win Pro Series event. Tim started 2nd in heat race #2 and finished 1st. In the second round of heat races Tim started 9th in heat race #6 and finished 6th. The Pro Series races run two heat races and then gives points for your finishing position and for passing cars. Tim's point total landed him in the 6th position for the A-main. On the first lap on the A-main a four car jam caused Dietz to slam the brakes and spun the car out in the meantime. ROUGH START FOR 18D IN SEASON OPENER AT TRAIL-WAY SPEEDWAY
The BOPS Racing team headed to Trail-way Speedway to support Tim Dietz in the 18D for the Season Opener and the day didn't go as planned. Warm-ups and the heat racing went well, but a first lap first turn tangle in the A-main ended the day for the team. Tim was credited with 23rd out of 24 total cars. In 2006, Tim Dietz began racing the #9 for Littleās Racing Team, under the
direction of Dan Little, for whom he earned two track championships at Hill
Valley Speedway. After three successful years, Dan and Tim mutually decided to
part ways and move onto other opportunities. Tim and his entire family would
